What type of aircraft are used for the flights?

We can charter small turboprop aircraft of one or two passengers on shorter trips. For larger groups, we can charter jets and small airliners. A selection of charter aircraft can be found in our aircraft database.

How much does it cost to list flights?

Listing is free. Anyone can list flights on JetCharterPool.

How much does it cost to fly?

Pricing depends on many factors including the time of travel, the departure and arrival airports, the number of passengers, and the type of aircraft. At the time of listing, we will calculate an estimated price range. When we have more than one interested passenger for a specific date, we will update the price estimate.


What is a flight listing?

Our database has thousands of flights created by members of our community. Travellers can search for flights and reserve seats
on their preferred travel dates. The following information is needed for a minimal flight listing:

  • Name of flight – e.g. John’s Tahoe Ski Trips
  • Departing Airport or City – e.g. San Francisco
  • Arrival Airport or City – e.g. Truckee


Who owns the aircraft?

Flights are provided by leading charter aircraft operators. We will source the best
aircraft operators for your trip based on the location and number of passengers.
Our charter operators are regulated by the FAA as Part 135 Carriers.

Which airports do you serve?

We are focused on the United States market. We can arrange flights for any airport where charter flights are permitted.

Who can create a flight listing?

Anyone can create a flight listing. There is no obligation for you to travel and listing is free. Non-US residents can create listings. We welcome private citizens, entrepreneurs, corporations, non-profits and sporting clubs. Charter flights are a great way to raise funds for your organization or generate
extra income for yourself.

What is the role of Jet Charter Pool?

Jet Charter Pool LLC is an air charter broker and platform for booking private air travel. The company acts as an agent of private air travellers. Jet Charter Pool LLC is not an air carrier and does not own or operate the aircraft on which its clients fly. All flights are operated by FAA Part 135 Carriers. Jet Charter Pool operators must meet the standards set by the Federal Aviation Administration.

How is the price calculated?

The major costs for a jet charter are listed below.

Aircraft charter From $200 per hour The cost for chartering a specific aircraft. Time is charged per flight hour.
Fuel surcharge From $50 per hour Some aircraft operators will charge an additional fuel surcharge.
Landing fees From $30 per segment Airports typically charge a fee for each landing based on the size of the aircraft.
Catering Basic catering is free You can customize the catering for your flight listing according to your tastes. French champagne, caviar, anything you like.
Attendants From $200 per segment We can provide a purser to assist passengers on your flight.
International Fees Variable When flying internationally, fees may be charged by immigration and customs authorities.
